Dr Haleh Kashani is a licensed psychologist in practice for over twenty years with  a broad range of experince and professional interests. She works with adults, adolescents and families dealing with range of issues and psychiatric conditions. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and weight related issues, substance abuse and addictions with adults and teens. She has special interest in cross-cultural issues with clinical and research experience with first and second generation immigrants. She is Bi-lingual and is fluent in Farsi.

 

Dr Kashani is the President of the Eating Disorders Recovery Support,Inc, and the founder of the “Healthy Family – Healthy Weight Program for Children”. She has created and directed the out-patient eating disorder program for adults and adolescents at Kaiser Permanente, San Rafael since 2000 and is in private practice in Corte Madera.

 

Dr. Kashani provides clinical consultation, training and educational presentations to professionals and the public. She is a clinical faculty at Kaiser Permanente - San Rafael, Post Doctoral APA Training Program. She is a member of the California Psychological Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Marin County Psychological Association as the Chair of the Ethics Committee.
